Professional, engaging, ready to use resources. PowerPoints, Worksheets, Crosswords
I have a varied background working in both education and the corporate world. I've held management roles, teaching roles and entrepreneurial ventures. I've been involved in adult education for the past two decades. My teaching areas are computing and workplace communication skills. I also have my CELTA and have experience teaching English as a second language. I love creating resources for all of the above.

Lesson Starter / Warmup
Start the lesson with a fun dice game focussing on Personal Protective Equipment.
Move on to a mix and match group activity exploring common words taken from H&S Policies .
Then use the interactive digital challenge with questions to uncover an image. (competitive and fun for pairs and teams).
Ensure learners know about the forms to use in the workplace and when to use them with the Workplace Incident / Accident / Near Miss lesson and the Template to be filled in when an incident occurs.
Finish off with a fun crossword puzzle that reinforces the same words learnt previously.
Lots of room for discussion in these topics.
This fun visual game can be used as a warm-up to a lesson on Health and Safety, or at the end of a lesson as a quick quiz.
How the game works:
The PowerPoint computer based game can be played in teams or as a group / class activity.
The objective is to reveal what is behind the numbers on the presentation, one square at a time.
Each team picks a number and answers a question. (Questions and answers are provided in the worksheet).
If they answer the question correctly, then they can click on a number on the PowerPoint presentation to display a portion (square) of the picture in the background. The background picture is slowly revealed.
The first team to identify the background picture wins.

Communications, Workplace, ESOL and Computing Resources
This resource contains 20 plus borders that you can use for free in your Powerpoint resources. They are meant for older children, and adults.
This is my first attempt at creating borders. I couldn't find what I was looking for to meet my needs on this site. Most borders on here are great, but too childish for my audience.
This is why I have created a free product to see what you think. I would really appreciate your feedback on these.
I have also included instructions on how to use these borders with Powerpoint. They are PNG files that need to be inserted and then possibly minor adjustments to sizing depending on your computer setup.
I hope you enjoy using them. Please let me know what you think by emailing compcoachab@gmail.com.

Communications, Workplace, ESOL and Computing Resources
When planning a project at work or school, it's important to get team members prepared for their roles, tasks and responsibilities within the team.
The resources contained in the bundle are all you need to help you accomplish this. The three that I would start with are:
Identifying your Values - choose values as a group
Workplace issues: Brainstorm, problem Solve and Create Smart goals
Team collaboration - important for all to understand how teams work.
These resources are tried and tested in the workplace by my learners with amazing results for project outcomes.
This resource can be used to present a project that a class or team has been working on in a logical manner. It contains two different powerpoint designs that they can choose from. There are 10 slides within the presentation. Students / Learners simply type in their own information by over typing what is on the slide. They then insert relevant data and graphics.
This assists with formatting and presenting ideas in a logical way. I use it in the workplace training sector when teams have been working on an issue and have formulated goals and completed tasks to achieve an outcome. Once they have completed their project, they present it to their managers using the templates included.

A marketing plan is an essential document for a business to have. This resource provides a template for you or your team to work through to put together a workable plan with key objectives and actions to take. It could also be used for a project based task for schools.
"If you fail to plan, you are planning to fail." Benjamin Franklin.
It has been provided in a pdf and word document so that you can type in and edit as required.
This resource contains two CV templates that you can fill in with your own information. The CV's are formatted and have space for you to type in your specific information. There are prompts to help you with this.
They are standard CV's and it will generally be up to personal preference as to which one you will choose to use.
It would be useful to have basic word skills to work with the documents. Delete any information not required by selecting and using the Delete key. Remember a hard page break is Ctrl Enter. Use this instead of just continually using the enter key as this can muck up formatting.
